Levante Blue

A florist favorite, Levante Blue is a bright, violet-eyed bloom with up to 4 week vase life. She is heavily petaled and has stems ranging from 16-20”. Anemones are excellent cut flowers, deer resistant, and a pollinator favorite. Each corm can produce up to 10+ flowers. Succession planting is recommended to keep them blooming all season long.

Levante Blue is sold inpacks of 10 for fall planting.

Planting Instructions:

Plant in fall for Zones 7–9 and in spring after the last frost for zones 4-6. Growers in zones 4-6 will need to dig and dry corms yearly and replant in the spring.

1. Soak Corms in room-temperature water for 4–6 hours before planting.

2. Choose a full sun to part shade location and well-drained soil. Amend with compost if needed.

3. Plant corms 2–3″ deep and space 3–6″ apart.

4. Water after planting and keep the soil moist but not soggy using a low-nitrogen fertilizer when shoots and buds appear
